Deliverables/Purpose: Join our client's dynamic Digital team as a Senior Application Developer, where you'll be pivotal in transitioning from Oracle SOA to a modern API Management system using Azure APIM. As a key player in this transition, you'll take ownership of APIs, ensuring their effective integration into Business As Usual (BAU) operations, and resolve issues as they arise. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll help shape a secure API ecosystem supporting connection and information sharing across New Zealand.



Contract Details:
- Term: 2-year fixed term contract
- Project Stage: Early stage Delivery
- Remote Work Policy: Flexible working environment
- Start Date: As soon as possible



The Skills and Experience We Need You to Bring:
- Proven experience in API development and testing, particularly with Azure APIM and Oracle SOA.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Postman, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of API protocols (REST, SOAP) and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams.
- Experience in automated and manual testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD solutions like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
