About the role
Join a well-resourced engineering team working on multiple new product development projects in the hardware and embedded systems space. In this 6-month fixed-term role, you’ll take ownership of designing, building, and validating test infrastructure that supports the release of high-quality, production-ready devices.

You’ll work hands-on with both hardware and software elements of test fixture development, and contribute to system-level verification, firmware tuning, and coordination with overseas partners.

Duties include:

• Develop and maintain automated test fixtures for PCBA, calibration, and end-of-line testing
• Execute verification and validation activities across embedded systems
• Coordinate test equipment builds with external contractors
• Support motor control testing and firmware tuning 
• Align test plans with engineering leads and key delivery milestones
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and continuously improve test infrastructure
• Provide input to release planning and ensure testing readiness ahead of production gates

Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience using LabVIEW for automated test development
• Solid understanding of hardware/firmware integration and embedded systems
• Exposure to testing environments involving electromechanical products or motor systems
• Experience with test plan design and system validation
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
