Asset Management Lead (Fixed Term Contract)
Crew Technology Recruitment is excited to partner with Enable, Christchurch’s trusted fibre broadband provider, to find an outstanding Asset Management Lead. Enable connects people, businesses, and schools to critical infrastructure with reliability and care. This is a fixed-term role up to 12 Months, working up to 40 hours per week on-site in Christchurch, New Zealand. We are only able to consider candidates who hold current New Zealand work rights.
 
The Role
As our Asset Management Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping strategic decisions across the business, partnering closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure asset management drives meaningful value. In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Lead the implementation of the organisational system that will deliver on Enable's Asset Management maturity uplift roadmap, setting the foundation for long-term success.
  • Align cross-functional teams, processes, and tools to support strategic asset decision-making.
  • Drive lifecycle planning and risk-based performance strategies that enable long-term asset optimisation.
  • Ensure asset data quality and insight drives business planning, investment, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build internal capability and embed asset management into everyday operations across the organisation.
What You’ll Bring
  • Experience leading Asset Management strategy, frameworks, and implementation within complex operational environments (ideally in infrastructure, utilities, or similar sectors)
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle asset planning, risk-based decision making, and performance optimisation
  • Ability to engage confidently across both senior leadership and technical teams
  • Experience coaching and influencing teams through change
  • A strategic mindset paired with a hands-on, collaborative working style
