The onset of automation through technology has opened the payroll industry up to massive improvements in terms of time and cost. To be able to deliver a seamless, value-add, real-time payroll system to their enterprise clients both here in New Zealand and Australia has meant that they must be experts in this space, which they are.
You will have the opportunity to be the first line of that expertise assessing client requirements and delivering business orientated solutions; implementing and resolving issues with different stakeholders.
To do this you will need to have good communication and documentation skills, ability to take initiative, and have an adaptable mindset; whilst providing an excellent level of customer service.
You will develop an unbeatable level of product knowledge, which will open up other opportunities within the organisation to either specialise or diversify.
With a well-established presence here and abroad this software vendor has always been an early adopter of technology, heading to and staying in `the Cloud` in the 90s. From there, on-going success has allowed them to spread their product set and capabilities to cover Payroll automation and HR Services software delivered through browser and Web clients to tens of thousands of people globally.
You will embed yourself in our clients business for the 6 months following go-live ensuring the correct workflows are being followed, identify gaps within the software, manage support requests and tickets, triage issues. You will get to go onsite and met with clients to see the product in action. Day-to-day you will interface with different teams in the business; developers, business analysts, implementation consultants and testers. When you are not on-site you will be based in the head office in the CBD, working with the internal teams and engaging with clients via phone or email.
The client is doubling capacity, opening up a role alongside another Transition Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.
- You will have excellent English communication skills
- Experience dealing with clients in an IT or Payroll setting
- Strong ability to assess company product, evaluate solutions, and troubleshoot whilst in implementation stages.
- Have system mapping knowledge, flawless documentation skills and a team-friendly approach.
- You will have a valid passport and drivers licence with the ability to travel, this will only be 5-10% of your time.
Please note that to be considered for this role you will need to hold a valid NZ Work Visa or NZ Residency or NZ Citizenship and a full drivers licence.
