Coupling this with the opportunity to take on additional BI responsibilities (think development, visualisation, project work etc...) your day to day role will have all the DBA components you love while also allowing you to further develop your skills and capability in the business intelligence arena.

From a learning and progression standpoint you'll not only be supported by the BI team but also afforded the opportunity to work closely with and learn from the development and analytics/insights teams. You'll understand the performance and governance required to manage these databases efficiently and effectively whether that means creating a database schema from scratch, putting together a future maintenance plan or simply having the foresight to understand when process might fail. There's not many agency environments which are as data centric and heavy lifting as this! Your work will contribute to the larger goals of unlocking pockets of potential in clients' data.
