WIth complete buy-in from the wider business, an opportunity to completely overhaul of one of New Zealand's leading tourism business' digital platform presents itself. Understanding the criticality of the project for long-term business success has seen a large investment to bring the right leaders on board to leverage the existing skill sets has already begun. Now they look to bolster their front-end capabilities with an artisan developer who is well-versed with modern JavaScript frameworks. You will join a tight-knit team and provide insight on how to best build the vision of the future platform. You will play an instrumental role in this journey and deliver a widely used public-facing platform.

Role snapshot:
You will be a part of a cross-functional team looking to build the next generation of tourism platform. You will work closely with other team members to help establish policies, process, and strategy designed to ensure consistently high software development that is measurable and accurate. You will give input into architecture and the general direction of the technology, the flat structure gives the opportunity to help steer the direction of the product. You will be encouraged to collaborate and engage to ensure no stone is left unturned.  


The fit (of the ideal candidate):
 
  • ​5+ years of commercial development experience in an agile environment.
  • Strong experience with ASP.NET, MVC, C# AND SQL.
  • Well-versed with a Microsoft Dynamics CRM and API's
     
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
     
  • A passion for tourism is a huge bonus
