Join a newly created Digital team at a critical time as the business has identified the need to overhaul their processes and rethink their approach to technology in order to thrive. Focusing on rethinking all of their digital offerings you will create a new service layer and build out new web apps.   A complete move to Agile has begun, allowing you the opportunity to create a process that works for you. Experts have been brought in to help guide this change and remove roadblocks for you as you craft an entirely new set of digital offerings. Leveraging existing systems written in Java you will build out features focusing on a rich user experience.

The Company:
One of the most well-known organisations in New Zealand, they are experts in sending it and receiving. They are a large government business undergoing a large digital transformation incorporating a shift into an agile mindset and methodology. They are building an agile team from nearly scratch to drive that transformation and is seeking intrepid, agile,  entrepreneurial mindsets to join them on this journey. Based out in Highbrook means there are no need to get stuck in traffic heading into the city and perfect for anyone based out south.

The fit (of the ideal candidate):
  • Commercial experience delivering large-scale web applications in Java7/8​
     
  • Experience Spring, Spring Boot and SQL
     
  • Strong JavaScript capabilities (react.js is prefered)
     
  • Experience working in an agile product development environment
     
  • Use of AWS in a commercial environment
