The opportunity:

As the expert in your domain, you will be pivotal in the growing success of this organisations data practice, splitting time between internally facing and externally facing products and projects as well as providing Data platform architecture and data engineering expertise throughout the business. With a recently rolled out data management platform to support, along with a long line of other project and product engagements, you won't be bored here. Company profile:

A leader in their field, this well backed and well known service provider has been on the up over the past few years. With major lengthy contracts secured with some of New Zealand's most innovative and forward thinking enterprise clients, no day is the same. Company perks include a highly achievable bonus structure, flexible and reasonable working arrangements, coupled with the usual insurance packages you would expect. Given the nature of their status in the market, their ambition for a highly collaborative yet specialised data practice will be realised with the introduction of some key personnel to bolster those who have already put this company on the "data map'.

The fit (of the ideal candidate):
  • 5 years+ working in a similar role providing data consulting and/or solution architecture and implementation within genuine big data environments

  • Good knowledge of data analytics concepts and tools e.g. Powerbi, Qlik, Pentaho

  • Not afraid to get out of your comfort zone and learn new things (data and non data related)
