The opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Growth, you will be the linchpin for several key areas of data and work closely with a number of departments across the business including analytics, product development and sales and marketing. You will join a small but passionate team of data obsessed individuals within a highly successful startup that has become a mainstream powerhouse. 

Your day to day work will see you utilise your skills across data and web analysis, later starting to verge into data science territory. You will have good modelling, visualisation and stakeholder skills being able to extract, process and manipulate two main datasets from a robust platform. The business already has an incredibly strong online presence. Your work will be project driven, further elevating the organisation and helping productise their data to drive the platform forward through advanced analytics.

The team needs a committed, forward thinking and pro-active analyst. You'll be someone who is dedicated to generating genuine insight. You'll thrive when you see the effect your work has on growing the product, understanding how it is used by customers and contributing to the strategic roadmap.

What we need to see in your background:
  • 3-5 years industry experience as a Data Analyst or related specialty (e.g. Insight Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst)
  • Excellent capability in SQL and experience with at least one: R, Python, SAS or Matlab
  • Data Visualisation experience ideally with Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience working with web analytics essential, Google Marketing Platform, BigQuery etc... highly beneficial 
  • Proven track record of extracting, manipulating, processing, visualising and generating value from large datasets
  • Experience building (ideally) or enhancing statistical and/or prediction models 
  • Good communication skills and ability to influence and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Exposure to AWS, SPSS advantageous
