The opportunity:

With a newly appointed head of conversion, this pioneering New Zealand agency is looking for a new addition to the team to continue the CRO successes they've created over the last few years. Longer term there is the progression pathway and very real opportunity to grow and further build out the capability of CRO within the business. Heavy groundwork has been laid recently by bringing on board multiple large, new corporate clients ready for CRO initiatives to be introduced. You'll reap the benefits of continuing along this path, gaining buy in through demonstrating the value of CRO and working closely with clients to craft industry-leading work across a diverse portfolio. 

You will work closely with a dedicated team utilizing technology to drive conversion digital marketing strategy. Leveraging your skills in the CRO and wider digital marketing space you will work closely with the PPC and Analytics teams to deliver holistic solutions which are bespoke and leagues ahead of the competition. Your exceptional work standards will inevitably help grow the CRO client base will lead to further building out the team numbers in future to meet the demand. Role snapshot:

This role will see you work as a CRO specialist to identify and solve key conversion problems and opportunities for clients. You will be afforded the opportunity to grow, learn and truly specialise in this area and also work closely with the analytics and PPC teams in the business. Your day to day work will include completing research projects and site audits, identifying key conversion problems, providing recommendations, conducting qualitative research to inform testing programs e.g. user testing, onsite surveys, heat maps etc... reporting, A/B testing, monitoring wider industry trends and later on down the track contributing to optimisation strategy. In short you will be the go to person for anything CRO or UX related. 

To do this you will have a background across digital marketing, strong CRO/UX experience and a keen appetite to learn and develop into a specialist. It goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills and be extremely comfortable client facing and looking after account and project management. 

In addition to your day to day work you will also contribute to promoting CRO within the business and to clients and adding to the long term strategy plans. As the team grows there is the very real opportunity for you to take ownership of training and managing junior consultants if you're up for the challenge.

To be successful in this role you will need:
  • 2+ years digital marketing experience across SEM and SEO (ideally in an agency environment)
  • Solid CRO experience and a keen desire to specialise in this area 
  • Experience with digital analytics (Google Analytics, Adobe etc...) and qualitative research methods such as user testing, onsite surveys etc...
  • Experience with A/B & multivariate testing tools e.g. Optimizely, Google Optimize etc... and/or wireframing and UX highly beneficial 
  • Creative and flexible approach to problem solving 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present actionable insights to clients 
While candidates with strong marketing and CRO skills are preferred you may have also come from a UX background and are keen to pickup more of a digital marketing skill set. From a UX perspective you'll be confident carrying out site audits, working with a development team and understanding users and customer journeys with a focus on conversion.
