The Organisation:

This government organisation is seeking a new team member to bolster its Automation team and straighten the transformation delivery.

The Role:
  • This role is to identify, build, test and deploy automated IS tasks, operations and processes.
  • You will be the Automation specialist in the IS team that keeps the organisation running.
  • Working autonomously and highly organised to shape the service delivery, reduce cost, reduce complexity and improve the overall quality.
  • This organisation offers you a unique chance to develop and have a big influence on current ICT Automation projects.
  • You will join an established IS team working collaboratively to be efficient and detailed in your delivery.
  • You will be able to learn and develop new skills and will be encouraged to embrace new modern technologies.

You Are:
  • Experience working with an automation tool like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, vRA, vRO or Operations Orchestration is a must
  • Experience in workflow development and the automation of tasks and processes
  • Excellent PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Understanding and exposure to SQL scripting, or other programming languages for automation are highly desirable
  • Scripting within the Office 365 / Azure Cloud environment
  • Experience working in an Agile framework
  • Good infrastructure knowledge (e.g. MS Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Vmware, Databases)
