Last night at two black-tie ceremonies, one in Singapore and the other in Auckland, New Zealand Recruitment Consultancy Potentia was announced as a winner in two prestigious awards.
The AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards and the Global Recruiter (Asia Pacific) Industry Awards - Best Specialist Recruitment Business. This is the first time a New Zealand recruitment business has won either award.
"I'm rapt to receive these awards, and am incredibly grateful to all our key stakeholders who have helped us in these achievements: the Potentia team, clients, candidates and suppliers." Says Potentia's Managing Director Josh Comrie. "Starting the business 10 years ago, I wanted to build something that every employee could be proud of. Being recognised internationally as being best of breed, and then separately for business excellence, exceeds even my expectations."
"Winning the awards certifies our processes and hard work in a hugely competitive profession. As a team, we have built an IT recruitment consultancy that focuses on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and innovation. All of this is geared towards enabling our stakeholders to see massive success.” Says Mr. Comrie.
"The AUT Excellence in Business Support Awards recognise and celebrate organisations and individuals who deliver quality products and services to help small, medium and large businesses to maximise their potential. We are elated to be the first recruitment consultancy to win an AUT Excellence in Business Support Award."
AUT University Dean of Business and Law, Professor Geoff Perry said: “The standard of entries in the Awards this year was excellent. It is heartening to see the wider business sector taking a strong interest in these Awards, which highlight the important role of business support in our economy.”
The Global Recruiter Asia Pacific Industry Awards are the only recognised awards for the industry, which honour the industry’s finest. Whilst New Zealand businesses have previously entered, none has secured a win. The Global Recruiter judges said “A high-performance agency that provides innovative services to its clients and candidates that deliver long-term advantages. Its involvement in the sector and the community is targeted and meaningful.”
Potentia just celebrated its 10th year in business; these awards are a great gift to close out the year. Potentia offers an innovative talent acquisition approach, sourcing globally and locally through a number of unique methods. The business then takes ownership for its candidates’ success once placed through a structured coaching program. Potentia’s contracting offering is world class with a money back guarantee, full compliance and delivery management assurance. The organisation also plays an active role in the community, including industry body sponsorship, a scholarship programme and the $10k Unsung Heroes charity contribution. Combined, this makes Potentia a unique and very special business.
