Unsung Heroes Charity Grant

Each year instead of giving out corporate gifts at Christmas, we like to give back to the community. Knowing that there are over 20,000 charities in New Zealand, we thought it would be cool to do something for one of them. A few years ago, we landed upon the idea of having a nomination and voting process for the 'Unsung Hero Charity’, which has now turned into an annual $10,000 charity grant.

2015 Charity Vote

This year our clients helped us in selecting charities to take part in the Charity vote, and as with previous years it was up to the general public to vote to help determine who will receive the $10,000 Grant.  We would like to congratulate SPCA New Zealand who received the most votes and are the 2015 Potentia $10,000 charity grant recipients.

2014 Unsung Hero Charity Vote

In 2014, we thought we'd up the ante and we asked interested charities to submit a video or write 250 words on why they should be considered for the 2014 Unsung Heroes Charity vote. The top eight submissions then took part in a public vote.

The 2014 Unsung Hero Charity who received the most votes and received the $10,000 grant was De Paul House.

We would like to thank all the charities who took part and to everyone who voted.
